John "Johnnie" Baxter was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s who at representative level played for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Rochdale Hornets, playing at Stand-off/Five-eighth, or Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 6, or 7.
Johnnie Baxter won a cap for England while at Rochdale Hornets in 1904 against Other Nations, and won a cap for Great Britain while at Rochdale Hornetsin against 1908 New Zealand.[1]
